Pregnancy Yoga Terms & Conditions

Pregnancy yoga classes

Classes are 60 minutes and may include a mixture of posture practice, breathing exercises and meditation. They are suitable for those over 12 weeks into their pregnancy who have been cleared to participate in physical exercise during pregnancy.

Booking and payment

Bookings can be made using the form on the website or by emailing me at jill@theyogapsychologycentre.co.uk. If the class is full, I will email you as soon as possible after your booking to let you know. You can choose to stay on the waitlist in case someone cancels, transfer your booking to another date, or receive a refund.

Your first class is half price so that you can try the class. After that, you can choose to book single classes or to buy a 6-class pack. Please note that the 6-class pack is intended to be used for consecutive weeks. This is to help me manage class numbers. Please see the cancellation policy below for more details.

Payment in full is due before the class (by bank transfer) to secure your space.

Cancellation policy

Please note that once booked, a 6-class pack cannot be refunded. In some circumstances, it may be possible for you to transfer your booking to use at a later date. However, no transfers will be granted within 24 hours of the date of the class. If you are unsure, please get in touch to discuss your situation.

No refunds will be made for classes missed within a block, unless this is due to an early birth or a loss. However, if you give me 24 hours’ notice before a missed class, I may be able to record the class for you so that you can practice in your own time. Please note, that this cannot be guaranteed.

I will inform you in advance of any planned absence for holiday or professional engagements and will endeavour to give you at least 48 hours’ notice of any cancelled class wherever possible. I aim to minimise any disruption or inconvenience to you due to missed classes and will only cancel a class if this is completely unavoidable and as a last resort. Any classes cancelled by me will be refunded, or can be transferred to an alternative date if you prefer.

Health and wellbeing

Yoga is a safe form of exercise and I take care to ensure your wellbeing during sessions. I ask that you let me know if you have any injuries, medical conditions or physical limitations prior to practicing. I will endeavour to guide you in a practice that is suited to your needs.

However, you are required to take full responsibility for your practice during the sessions, making any adjustments necessary according to your own capabilities to ensure that no personal injury occurs, and ensuring the movements you choose are appropriate for your physical and mental limitations. If you are experiencing any physical health issues related to pregnancy or have any pregnancy-related complications, please consult with a healthcare professional prior to attending class to ensure that it is safe for you to practice.

I am fully insured, but I am not a medical professional and cannot offer any medical advice or diagnosis. Should injury occur during a session, I will not be held accountable. The Yoga Psychology Centre does not accept any liability for any injury or damage arising from the sessions.

Privacy and data

Please see the privacy policy on the website or ask me for a copy.

By attending a session with me, you acknowledge and agree with these terms and conditions.
