Integrating the wisdom of yoga, the science of psychology and the insights of neuroscience, sessions draw on a range of practices to support you to connect to your body, awaken your energy and ignite your spirit.

Whether you are a beginner looking for a safe space to explore yoga, your body, and the therapeutic benefits of this ancient practice, or a regular practitioner looking to deepen and integrate your experience of yoga, these sessions are for you.

  • The Wisdom of Yoga

    This 5000-year-old practice has much to teach us about living in a way that is aligned to our values and connected to our deepest spirit. We will use postures, breathing and meditation to create an embodied practice that leaves you feeling both grounded and lifted.

  • The Science of Psychology

    Psychology gives a language to the unconscious to help us integrate the things we learn through our bodies, and provides an array of tools to understand and shift our mind set. We will use these practices to enhance the mind-body connection and support positive steps towards change.

  • The Insights of Neuroscience

    Recent developments in neuroscience help us understand the ways that yoga and psychology impact on our well-being. We will use this understanding to focus on the practices that are most valuable to you, tailoring sessions to your needs and goals.

What to expect

Our first session together will explore where you’re at, what your goals are, and how we can best work together. You will have a taste of the different kinds of practice that we can incorporate, and we’ll formulate a tailored plan for the coming sessions.

The following sessions will draw on a range of different practices and weave in key themes around gratitude, compassion, empowerment and balance.

Each session is accompanied by resources and suggestions for you to take away, practice and make your own.

I’m based in South-West London and can offer sessions in your home if you’re local, or online if you’re further afield.

Why private yoga

The beauty of private yoga sessions is that the practices can be tailored to your needs, goals and body. Sessions are created for you and can be adapted and developed over time as your needs change.

You can practice in the comfort of your own home and there is flexibility in times of sessions, ensuring they can fit around your timetable.

While some people love the energy of practicing in a large group, other people may feel self-conscious or be unsure how to adapt the poses for their body. This can be especially the case for beginners. Private yoga allows you to learn about your body in a safe space, and get playful and curious with the different practices at a pace that suits you.

Private yoga is a gift to yourself – space to tune in and take care of your needs, with someone who is focused entirely on looking after you. This can be a powerful experience, allowing you to reconnect to yourself and realign with your values and goals.

Yoga for the Workplace

Our lives are busy and there are many demands on our time. Stress can easily build up and make us feel burned out and tense. Taking time out to move your body, breathe, and focus on the present moment is a great antidote to this.
